Chicken cat biscuits

Here's my 2011 cat treat for your cat!

The Chick N'Biscuits

1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/3 cup cornmeal

1 tablespoon soft margarine

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

That's all! it's all that simple :)

how long do you bake these biscuits for? there is the temperature but no cook time

I hadn't paid attention to time actually, just let it cook until it looks like it's ready heheh. I am sorry for being so vague!

Flour, cornmeal, and margarine?! Are you kidding?! It's a CAT! I wouldn't feed this to my cat for anything!
Look up cat nutrition before you come up with your own recipes.

There is something missing in the recipe, I think I had forgotten to post the preparation part!
I think it's perfectly good for cats, it's meat based also it contains grains! cats can eat moderate amounts of grains!

More on homemade cat food:

In order to provide a better varied/rich cat diet than only canned food, you can prepare the recipes at home. you have, in this case, to be careful in balancing nutritional substances, because a cat diet that has only meat may cause some deficiencies. Too much liver, for instance, can poison them with vitamin A ( cats are not humans!). If you have a nourishing chart you can have a good composition of food items to make meals. The best is to feed cats with a diversified and constantly changing diet and cat food ingredients, some times meat, other times viscera, rice (mixed with other ingredients), chicken heads, then canned food but all of them enriched, for example, by the adition of cheese (see the cat food recipe made with cheese), green vegetables, egg whites, oat flakes and vitamin and mineral compounds.
If you are new to homemade cat food, I suggest you have some reading in this website before you go planning your cat diet, do you love your cat enough to read enough about what it eats? sure you do, then go ahead and don't forget to tell your friends about this blog ;)
